Brett Lombardi enters his second year with the Northwest Nazarene track & field staff in the 2024-25 season.
Lombardi works primarily with the Nighthawks' hurdles, multis, and pole vault athletes.
A Boise native, Lombardi returned to the Treasure Valley after a successful collegiate career at Fresno Pacific. In his senior season in 2022, he earned All-American honors at the NCAA Outdoor Championships with an 8th-place finish in the decathlon.
In both 2021 and 2022, he was also dominant at the PacWest Outdoor Championships for the Sunbirds, placing in the top eight in six different events in each year. In 2021, he won titles in javelin and pole vault and was runner-up in decathlon, third in 400 hurdles, sixth in high jump, and eighth in discus. In 2022, he claimed the javelin title and was runner-up in pole vault, third in 400 hurdles, fifth in discus, seventh in 110 hurdles, and eighth in high jump.
