Northwest Nazarene University Athletics

The NNU Athletic Hall of Fame began in 1982 with the induction of Morris Chalfant and continues to honor the accomplishments of alumni that have succeeded on and off the playing fields. Under the direction of athletic director Rich Sanders (2002-12), and with the assistance of Liz Reisch from AJ Awards in Nampa and Hall of Fame coach and professor Roger Schmidt, the NNU Athletic Hall of Fame was relocated in 2004 to the upper entrance of the Johnson Sports Center. With the 19th induction ceremony in the fall of 2021, the NNU Athletic Hall of Fame now includes a prestigious group of 47 former athletes, coaches, administrators, teams, and contributors to the athletic programs.
