2008-09
Kristin was limited to 20 games last season due to a foot injury, but started 18 of the 20 games and averaged 10.0 points and a team-high 8.8 rebounds per game…Her rebounding average ranked second in the GNAC and she was an Honorable Mention selection to the GNAC All-Conference team for 2008-09…Kristin scored a career-high 23 points against Alaska Fairbanks (2-19-09) and had a season-best 14 rebounds the same night.

2007-08
Kristin appeared in all 28 games as a sophomore, leading the Crusaders in rebounding at 7.6 rebounds per game and finishing third in the GNAC in rebounding...She pulled down a career-high 15 rebounds against Western Oregon (3-8-08) and scored a season-best 19 points against Central Washington (1-17-08)...Kristin averaged 9.8 points per game and posted eight double-doubles last season.

2006-07
Kristin was a Great Northwest Athletic Conference all-conference honorable mention selection as a freshman, averaging 8.0 points and 6.8 rebounds per game…She scored a career-best 21 points against Seattle University (2-15-07) and Alaska Fairbanks (2-22-07) and grabbed a season-best 14 rebounds against Alaska Anchorage (2-24-07).

High School
Kristin averaged a double-double as a senior with 10.0 points and 10.4 rebounds per game as she led Tualatin High School to a third place finish at the Oregon 4A state tournament...She was a first-team All-Pac 9 League selection, an honorable mention Oregon 4A all-state pick, and a McDonald’s High School All-American nominee.

She was born on 4/27/88...Her parents are Chris & Sue Hein...Her major is Elementary Education...Her favorite childhood toy was her Lite Brite...Three words that describe her:  Optimistic, Sarcastic and Loner…Her favorite sport outside of basketball is soccer...Her favorite thing about NNU is the family-like atmosphere…Her older brother, Matt, played basketball at Lane Community College in Eugene, Ore.
