Biography

Major: Kinesiology/Athletic Training.
Parents: Kenny and Michele Watkins.
Siblings: Kayla (sister) and Hayden (brother).
Club: Canes Fastpich.

Why NNU?: I love the smaller school atmosphere and religious background. And of course, to come play softball?
About Coach Wagner: Having Wagner as a coach was a deciding factor in coming to NNU, and knowing Coach Wagner and Coach Oliver believe in me and our team makes me want to work so much harder.
Describe Coach Wagner in five words or less: Laid back yet determined.
If I wasn’t playing softball, I’d be: I would most likely be playing rugby somewhere and traveling on trips with whatever school I was at.
What’s the best part about playing softball at NNU: Having that automatic family connection with my teammates. And our gear is pretty spiffy.
Favorite food: Pesto pasta.
Favorite Movie: Anchorman or Pride and Prejudice.
Favorite thing to do other than play softball: Go boating and wakeboarding.
Pre-game routine/superstitions: Top button has to be undone and a penny goes in my left sock, heads up. Besides that, pray and don't you dare step on that line.
Favorite Life Moment: Holding my niece Lily for the first time.
