Biography

2008-09
Falissa appeared in 13 games last season, averaging 3.6 points and 1.8 rebounds before suffering a season-ending knee injury…She scored a career-high 14 points against Regis University (11-28-09) and had a career-best six assists and four rebounds against Cascade College (11-21-08).

2007-08
Falissa redshirted due to a knee injury.

High School
Falissa had the rare opportunity to win back-to-back-to-back state championships in high school, leading her Southridge High School team to the Oregon 6A state championship three times (2005-2007)…She was the team captain of the 2007 championship team and was awarded the 2007 Jerry Phlug Award for Leadership & Accomplishments from the Metro League…In track & field, Falissa won the Metro League championship in the 100m, 200m, 4x100 relay and 4x400 relay during her senior year and was a member of the Oregon 6A state champion 4x400 relay team.

She was born on 10/30/89…Her parents are Scott & Theresa Smith…Her major is Kinesiology…Her favorite childhood toys were whatever her brother got for Christmas!...Her favorite movie:  Hitch…Her favorite sports outside of basketball are swimming and football…Her brother, Justin, plays football at Carroll College in Montana…Falissa will also compete for the NNU track & field team in the spring.
