Prior to NNU
Katharina was a member of the German 2nd-division Hagen Huskies Basketball Club Team since the age of 16 and also played on the Under-16 German National Team in 2005 and 2006, and the Under-17 German National Team in 2007.  Her team finished 8th at the 2006 European Championships, where she was selected as the MVP in the Germany vs. Netherlands game…Last season she averaged 9.0 points and 5.4 rebounds per contest.

Born on 7-1-1990…Parents are Markus & Ruth Schulte to Buhne…Her major is English…Her favorite vacation spot:  So far, it’s the French Atlantic coast in the summer!...Her favorite movie:  The Gridiron Gang…Her favorite athlete outside of basketball:  German gymnast Fabian Hambuchen…Favorite sport outside of basketball:  swimming…One reason that I chose NNU:  The atmosphere on campus.
