Heading into the top of the fourth, the Nighthawks trailed 4-1.
Emma Bumatay knocked a one-out single and
Hailey Harris singled up the middle to put two on, with one out.
Audrey McKibben came in to pinch run for Bumatay and

Neither team was able to take the lead in the seventh and the game would head into extras. With only one base runner off a Chacon walk that led to a stolen base, but nothing else.
Heading to the 10th, Bumatay was placed on second as the tie breaker for the Nighthawks but two fly outs and pop out would leave the go-ahead run at second. WWU's Pewitt worked a full-count walk to put runners at first and second. Hailey Kim laid down a sacrifice bunt and
Keana Bell played aggresive to get the force at third but Hadley Oylear beat the throw to load the bases without any outs.
With the winning run just 60 feet away for the Vikings, NNU had to play perfect. Nazli Chavez pinch hit for Traxler. Chavez worked a full count and drove the seventh pitch of the at bat into deep left field that hit the wall a few feet into fair territory, scoring Oylear and winning the game in walk-off fashion.
