BELLINGHAM, Wash. - Northwest Nazarene men's golf continued their fall season at the WWU Invitational across Monday and Tuesday, placing 14th at the three-round event hosted at the Bellingham Golf & Country Club.
Noah Larson led the Nighthawks, tying for 32nd with a three-round score of +5. He had a great second round on Monday, shooting an NNU season-best four-under 68 with six birdies and just a pair of bogeys.Â
Kasey Gaff had a strong final day, shooting a one-under 71 to rise 14 spots into a tie for 44th at +7 overall. He improved each round on the course, with scores of +7 and +1 in the first two rounds on Monday.Â
Freshman
Jack Duffy was next for the Nighthawks, tying for 54th at +11.
Dylan Christensen tied for 71st at +15 to round out the four scorers for NNU.
Gavin Rodeghiero was NNU's fifth, coming in at +21 for the event.
The Nighthawks will now take a weekend off before heading to Billings for the Briarwood Shootout on Oct. 13-14.
