KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The College Sports Communicators (CSC) released the 2024-25 Women's Track & Field Academic All-District Teams for Division II, with five members of Northwest Nazarene's program earning the honor.
The Nighthawks' honorees for the 2024-25 campaign are 
Kayla Baniaga, 
Olivia Blum, 
Jordan Eldridge, 
Alejandra Gomez, and 
Emily Powers.
To earn this recognition, student-athletes be at least a sophomore in athletic and academic eligibility, must hold a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or above from all schools in their collegiate careers, as well as meet the following criteria for cross country/track & field specifically:
	- Cross Country - Top-50 individual performance at the 2024 NCAA regional competition 
 
	- Track & Field - Top-50 regional ranking in single event (indoor or outdoor)

The Academic All-District® Women's Track & Field Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances as an athlete and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
 
The Division II and III CSC Academic All-America® programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the Divisions II and III Academic All-America® programs. The NAIA CSC Academic All-America® program is partially financially supported through the NAIA governance structure.
