Kendall Clark Named First Team All-GNAC

| By:
PORTLAND, Ore. - The GNAC announced the 2024-25 Women's Basketball All-Conference Teams on Tuesday afternoon, with Northwest Nazarene's Kendall Clark earning First Team honors.

Clark is one of seven athletes on the First Team, joined by Alaska Anchorage's Tori Hollingshead and Emilia Long, Central Washington's Sunny Huerta and Asher Cai, Montana State Billings' Dyauni Boyce, and Western Washington's Olivia Wikstrom.

The sophomore earns the honor a year after being named the Freshman of the Year and Honorable Mention All-GNAC in 2023-24. She is the first Nighthawks women's basketball player to receive First Team honors since Avery Albrecht in the 2019-20 season, and 11th overall since NNU joined the GNAC in 2001.

Clark has broken out as one of the best players in the GNAC in her second season, leading the conference in overall shooting at 56.8% from the field. She is fourth in the GNAC in scoring at 15.7 points per game and fifth in rebounding at 7.2 per game.

The Melba, Idaho native has scored in double digits in 21 of her 26 games this year, including nine games of 20 or more points. She has also recorded three double-doubles, including a 21-point, 14-rebound effort against Simon Fraser on January 11th.

Clark will now look to lead five-seed NNU to a deep run at the GNAC Championships this week. The Nighthawks open in the quarterfinals on Thursday, March 6 against four-seed Western Washington at 5:15 p.m. Pacific in Lacey, Washington.
