PORTLAND, Ore. - The GNAC announced the weekly award winners for March 10-16 on Monday afternoon, with Northwest Nazarene softball's Riley McGee earning the Pitcher of the Week honor.

This is NNU softball's sixth weekly accolade this season.

McGee was stellar in two outings against Central Washington, as she played her part in helping the Nighthawks secure a 3-1 series victory.

The freshman allowed just six baserunners in 6 2/3 innings for a WHIP of 0.90 and allowed one run for an ERA of 1.05. After earning the win with four strong innings on Friday, McGee followed up by posting a save with 2 2/3 perfect innings on Saturday. In her debut collegiate campaign, McGee has logged 35 innings and holds an ERA of 4.11.

McGee and the Nighthawks return home this week after two weeks away from Nampa, hosting Saint Martin's for four games from March 22-22 on Halle Field.
