NAMPA, Idaho - It was an NNU sweep atop the podium at the Nighthawks Challenge over Friday and Saturday at RedHawk Golf Course in Nampa, with NNU's 'A' Team taking the team title and the 'B' Team finishing as the runner-up out of nine competing squads.
The 'A' Team finished at +18 578, seven strokes ahead of the 'B' Team at a +25 585. The next closest teams were Oregon Tech and Whitworth 'A', both at +29.
Individually, NNU claimed three of the top four spots with
Lane Strand finishing second at an even 140 and
Cole Evarts and
Grayson Giboney tying for third at a one-over 141.
Kasey Gaff and Ben Mulder tied for seventh at +5, while
Gavin Rodeghiero tied for 12th at eight-over.
Tyler Williams was 12-over to finish in 21st, followed by
Ty Hagen and
Lucas Rynearson at +17, and
Colton Sisk at +18.
