PORTLAND, Ore. - The GNAC announced the 2024 Women's Basketball All-Academic Teams on Wednesday, with five members of Northwest Nazarene's program earning the honor.
NNU's recipients are
Emma Clark,
Kate Clark,
Elliett Lee,
Shawnacee Davis, and
Cami Knishka.
NNU senior
Cami Knishka, in grad school pursuing a Masters of Education, is one of four student-athletes in the GNAC with a perfect 4.00 GPA. She is also one of just three four-time Academic All-GNAC honorees on the list. The Clark sisters are both nursing majors, while Davis is Pre-Counseling and Lee is Management.
Montana State Billings led all GNAC schools with eight all-academic selections, followed by four programs with six players on the list. A total of 49 GNAC women's basketball players garnered all-academic recognition.
To qualify for academic all-conference, student-athletes must maintain a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.20, must be in at least their second season competing for their team and must have competed on the court during the 2023-24 season.
