SALT LAKE CITY - Northwest Nazarene women's basketball's game at Westminster University on Saturday, Dec. 20 has been canceled and ruled as a 'no contest'.
Due to a medical emergency during the game with one of Westminster's student-athletes right before halftime, the coaches of the two teams agreed not to resume the rest of the game due to the event.
Statistics that were accrued prior to the stoppage will not count and the two teams' records will not be affected.Â
NNU's next contest will be their first home game of the season, hosting Alaska Anchorage on Thursday, Jan. 2 after the holiday break.Â
