NAMPA, Idaho - Over the course of Thursday and Friday, Northwest Nazarene golf took on College of Idaho in a spring dual, competing both in Caldwell at TimberStone Golf Course and in Nampa at Ridgecrest Golf Club.
On the men's side, the Nighthawks defeated the Yotes 8-3, taking all four Partner Best Ball matches on Thursday and then going 4-3 in the Individual Match Play on Friday.
The women won Match Play 1-0 on Thursday before showing well in Stroke Play on Friday with a 309.
Of note,
Grayson Giboney shot the hot round in Caldwell on Thursday, firing a four-under 68 that was five strokes ahead of any other competitor. Giboney also won his individual match on Friday, along with
Cole Evarts,
Parker Wallace, and
Alex Lowery.
Evarts had the hot round on Friday at Ridgecrest with a three-under 69.
On the women's side on Friday, Elle McCord, Madison Gridley, and Christine Cho all tied at 77 to lead the Nighthawks.
