ALAMEDA, Calif. - Northwest Nazarene men's golf continued their spring season on Monday and Tuesday at the Tim Tierney Pioneer Shootout at Corica Park Golf Course.

The Nighthawks finished 12th after the two rounds on Monday, as Tuesday's round was canceled during play due to extremely high winds. NNU was 17 strokes ahead of the 13th-place team, Chaminade.

Cal State San Marcos won the event at a 566 (-10), followed by Simon Fraser at -7 and Chico State at -6.

Cole Evarts was next with an even 144 to tie for 24th, followed by Grayson Giboney just one stroke behind him at 145 to tie for 37th. Giboney also led the field in pars with 28 over the two rounds.
