Booth Grabs GNAC Pitcher of the Week Honor

PORTLAND, Ore. - The GNAC announced its weekly award winners for Feb. 20-26 on Monday, with Northwest Nazarene's Sidney Booth earning the Pitcher of the Week nod.

Booth earned the win in Saturday's 1-0 shutout of Central Washington in the first game of the doubleheader between the two teams. In 5.1 innings, she allowed two hits and one walk and struck out seven for her third win of the season.

NNU then played CWU two more times on Monday. The Nighthawks will now close out the non-conference portion of their season this weekend when they host Western Oregon.
