Softball Earns Academic Honors from the NFCA

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The NFCA and Easton have announced the 2021-22 Team GPA and All-America Scholar-Athlete awards, with Northwest Nazarene receiving the team honor along with 11 student-athletes achieving the individual recognition.

To earn the team award, a program must have a year-long combined GPA of a 3.0 or above. NNU was well above the qualifying mark, posting a 3.47.

Individual student-athletes needed to record a GPA of 3.50 or above throughout the entire year. The Nighthawks' 11 honorees, in alphabetical order, are Ashley Bliss, Sidney Booth, Madison Felter, Charlotte Forniss, Abigail Gagnon, Tori Hensley, Ivy Hommel, Mari Kamemoto, Maia McNicoll, Gina Skinner, and Nicole Zuvela.
