NAMPA, Idaho – Northwest Nazarene women's basketball heads out for an unprecedented road trip this week, playing four games in four cities in the next eight days. This week's matchups will be Simon Fraser on Tuesday, Saint Martin's on Thursday, and Western Oregon on Saturday.

Nighthawks Notes
- NNU had a hot and cold week last week, rallying for a 77-70 upset win in overtime over then-No. 6 Western Washington on Thursday before falling to Simon Fraser by 10 on Saturday.
- The Nighthawks drop one spot to eighth in the D2SIDA West Region rankings, with the highest they have been this season being sixth.
- When NNU holds opponents under 70 points, they are 9-1. When NNU scores 70 or more, they are now 10-2.
- If NNU forces more turnovers than they commit, they are 9-2 in such games on the season.
- Teagan Thurman has only started three games this year and plays under 19 minutes per game, but the sophomore forward is nearly averaging a double-double with 11.6 points and 8.1 rebounds per contest. The rebounding mark is second in the GNAC and scoring is tied for 15th. She has also recorded five double-doubles on the season.
- Nyalam Thabach leads the Nighthawks and is ninth in the GNAC with 13.1 points per game, shooting 49.7% from the field for eighth in the conference, and has made five of the nine triples she has attempted this year. She also pulls down 7.3 rebounds per game (6th in the GNAC) and has notched 16 blocks.
- Ashlynn Sylve and Jordan Pinson are both tied for fourth in the GNAC in steals (1.9 per game).
- Erin Jenkins is second on the squad with 11.8 points per game and third with 5.5 boards per contest.
- As a team, NNU is second in the GNAC in scoring at 72.9 points per game, third in field goal percentage at 41.3%, first in rebounding with 41.0 per game, second in steals with 10.9 per game, and first in offensive rebounding with 14.5 per game.

- Against Simon Fraser, NNU is 10-12 since joining Division II in 2001. The Nighthawks are 4-6 in the games played in Burnaby. NNU and SFU just played in each team's last game on Saturday, Feb. 12, in Nampa, with SFU leading from start to finish for a 96-86 win.
- Against Saint Martin's, NNU is 28-11 since joining Division II in 2001. The Nighthawks are 11-7 in the games played in Lacey, with NNU winning the last five road matchups in a row and 12 of the last 13 overall meetings. In the most recent meeting on Jan. 22 of this season, NNU blitzed SMU for a 27-14 first quarter lead and held it for most of the rest of the game, eventually taking a 78-65 win.

- Jessica Wisotzki is fifth in the GNAC with 15.8 points per game and seventh with a 34.4 three-point percentage.
- Gemma Cutler is second in the conference with a 58.1 field goal percentage and is second on SFU with 8.3 points per game.
- As a team, Simon Fraser is third in the GNAC with 71.3 points per game, second with 16.0 assists per game, and third with 8.9 steals per game.
Scouting the Saints
- Saint Martin's enters the week ninth in the GNAC standings at 3-9 while holding an 11-10 overall mark.
- Prior to a seven-point win at Seattle Pacific last Saturday, the Saints had lost four games in a row.
- Claire Dingus is a do-it-all player for SMU, ranking third in the GNAC with 17.0 points per game, third with 8.0 rebounds per game, third with an 83.8 free throw percentage, first with 2.5 steals per game, and leads the conference with 35.8 minutes played per game.
