NAMPA, Idaho - The Northwest Nazarene University men's and women's golf teams each brought home dual match victories over The College of Idaho this afternoon with the men's team winning 294-296 and the women's team posting a 317-344 decision.

The narrow victory for the men's team was highlighted by a 1-under par 71 by NNU's Cole Evarts while The C of I's Clancy Cockerham was the Medalist with a 3-under par 69 over the Par 72, 6,909-yard Ridgecrest Golf Course in Nampa.

Trinity McCarthy, who played as an individual today, led the Nighthawks ladies with 74 to earn Medalist honors as the Par 72 Ridgecrest GC played at 5,843-yards for the women's teams.

Joining Evarts for the Nighthawks men were Jared Stensgaard with 73, Grayson Giboney and Tyler Joplin with 75 and Isaac Emerson with 80.

Playing as individuals were Jack Cook (75), Cole Belton (77), Michael Corkish (79), Lane Strand (79), Andrew Cortez (81), Micah Becker (87) and Trey Kelley (87).

Taylor Entenman was right behind McCarthy with a 75, Ragan McGilvery had 76 and Sienna Quinlivan posted 78. Hannah Holloway finished with 80 and was followed by Paige Vancil (84), Allison MacMillan (85) and Madison Gridley (88). McGilvery and MacMillan also played as individuals.

The College of Idaho men's team saw Tristan Belue post 74 to join Cockerham, Camden Chose (76) and Jake O'Neil (77) for the team score of 296. Playing as individuals for the Coyotes were Jacob Patterson (74), Peyton Fleming (79) and Josh Palmer (80).

C of I's ladies scoring came from Sam Dement and Makayloa Goforth with 84's, Malala LaForge with 87 and Kaylee Jones at 89.

Today's match was played as an exhibition for the Nighthawks and as counting scores for the Coyotes.

Both of the Nighthawks teams will be back in action this week as they compete at the LCSC Warrior Invitational in Clarkston, Wash. on Monday and Tuesday.
