NAMPA, Idaho - With the additional snowfall last evening adding to what remained from last weekend's storm, Northwest Nazarene softball and baseball have been forced to make changes to their schedules.

Softball's season-opening series against Pacific Lutheran that was scheduled for Friday and Saturday has been canceled. After the GNAC announcement yesterday signifying that the conference softball season will begin as planned in two weeks, the Nighthawks will now look to add games next week before beginning GNAC play. The conference will be releasing the updated schedule soon.

Baseball was originally supposed to visit College of Idaho today and host the Yotes tomorrow, both doubleheaders, but now the Nighthawks will play all four games at C of I on Saturday and Monday. C of I has already been able to play a few home games this year with the help of their turf infield, so they expect to be able to have the new snow cleared off in time for Saturday's games. After yesterday's GNAC announcement, NNU's full schedule has now been released and is available to view online.
