PORTLAND, Ore. - The GNAC released the preseason all-conference team for the 2021-22 women's basketball season on Tuesday, with Northwest Nazarene's
Erin Jenkins and
Nyalam Thabach both receiving the honor.
Jenkins is one of 11 athletes from the GNAC that were unanimous selections to the team. Only one squad, Western Washington, has more players on the team than NNU with three. Alaska Anchorage, Central Washington, and Simon Fraser also have two honorees.
Jenkins put up 12.9 points per game with 22 assists and 19 steals in 2020-21 and
 Thabach also produced during the spring with 12.1 points per game, 6.3 rebounds per game and 11 blocks in 2020-21.
Last week, the Nighthawks were
picked to finish third in the GNAC Preseason Poll.
