After being a facilitator for most of her career, she will be expected to score more this season. … Was named to the GNAC All-Conference Preseason Team a year after earning second-team all-GNAC honors. … Her athleticism and ball-handling skills make her extremely difficult to guard, and if she continues her improvement from beyond the arc she will be very good offensively.
Head coach Steve Steele: "Marina is definitely one of (if not THE) most talented lead guards in the region. She has a special ability to create for herself or others and she has improved her 3-point shooting tremendously over the summer which will make her even more dangerous. Like Avery, this year's team will need her to step up as a vocal leader."

No. 10 Emma Clark

Freshman guard, 5-foot-6, Melba, Idaho (Melba HS)

Notes: A two-sport athlete who also is a jumper for the track and field team, Clark will be relied on to provide athleticism and rebounding. … She won 12 Idaho high school state titles in track and field, including four her junior year. She was a four-time state champion in the triple jump.
Head coach Steve Steele: "Emma is already a local legend and definitely one of the most athletic guards I've ever coached. Her scoring and defensive potential has already impressed in practice and her upside is possibly the greatest on our team."

No. 11 Haley Hanson
16018
Freshman guard, 5-foot-8, Camas, Wash. (Camas HS)

Notes: Very competitive athlete, who was a team leader for Camas. She made eight 3-pointers in one game her senior season and was named the MVP of the Class 4A Greater St. Helens League.

No. 14 McKenna Emerson
16015

Emerson also competes on the track and field team. … She will be a terror in the full court press and can also shoot from the outside.
Head coach Steve Steele: "McKenna has the potential to be a real threat on both sides of the ball for us this season. Her motor, quickness and length are great in our press, and her ability to knock down open 3s or get to the rim make her tough to stop on defense."

She holds the career record for 3-point percentage at 44.9 percent and free-throw percentage at 88.1. … She will be relied upon to score a lot this season with the graduation of so many from last year's team.
Head coach Steve Steele: "Avery is coming off an outstanding season where she led our team in several offensive categories and very deservedly collected several awards. We will count on her to score in multiple ways this year, but also to fill other stats like rebounds, assists and steals. Possibly most important, we will need her to be a vocal and physical leader of this young team."

No. 20 Cami Knishka
16006
Redshirt freshman guard, 5-foot-8, Cashmere, Wash. (Cashmere HS)

Notes: Redshirted last year with a shoulder injury suffered in her high school soccer senior season. … Will be an instant impact player who can shoot, rebound and play solid defense.
Head coach Steve Steele: "Even though Cami red-shirted last season, she has a great understanding of our system. She may be one of our smartest players and most consistent shooters. She will be a glue player that we count on every night."

No. 22 Nicole Gall
16017
Freshman forward, 5-foot-9, Pasco, Wash. (Richland HS)

Notes: The younger sister of Colette Gall, who played four years for the Nighthawks and graduated in 2018. … Nicole will be a key contributor in the paint and could see big minutes thanks to her ability to rebound and play strong defense. … Missed some of the preseason with injury, but is expected to be ready to play soon.
Head coach Steve Steele: "Nicole is one of those players nobody likes to play against, but everyone wants on their team. She is as tough and smart as anyone we've ever had defensively and can score from multiple layers on offense."

Notes: Following a strong freshman campaign, Jenkins is ready to step into an impact role this season. … Her inside-outside threat and strong rebounding skills will help her to be one of NNU's best players and a difference maker in the GNAC. … A natural leader, she will fill that role despite being an underclassman. … You can follow along with her sophomore year through our series, "Fresh Eyes."
Head coach Steve Steele: "Erin is one of the most confident and aggressive offensive players in the conference. She has a unique skill set that allows her to score inside and out and fill the stat sheet in multiple departments.
