NAMPA, Idaho — The Crusader softball team will start their regular-season home-stand one week earlier.
Northwest Nazarene's scheduled series on the road this weekend has been shifted to Halle Field on the NNU campus.
The Crusaders will host Western Oregon in Great Northwest Athletic Conference doubleheaders on Friday and Saturday, but NNU will be the visiting team on the scoreboard as the games will be counted as home contests for the Wolves.
First-pitch on Friday is scheduled at 2 p.m., and action resumes on Saturday at noon.
The series starts a four-week home-stand for the Crusaders who will host back-to-back doubleheaders against St. Martin's on April 14-15, then Montana State Billings on April 21-22, and a regular-season finale, four-game series against Western Washington on April 28-29.
