Your Crusaders are offering a variety of camps on the hardwood and on the fields this spring and summer geared toward fine-tuning your game, whether you're a teenager looking to make an impact this high school season, or just a youngster learning a sport.
Basketball Camp for grades 2nd thru 12th
The Crusader women's basketball team is holding a skill development camp for boys and girls entering 2
nd through 12
th grades. Cost for the camp is $70, which includes a camp t-shirt.
The camp will be June 9-10 at the Johnson Sports Center (313 E. Dewey Ave., Nampa, ID, 83686) on the NNU campus. The camp will run from 6-8 pm on Friday, June 9, then from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, June 10.
This camp is a great opportunity for basketball players to improve their all-around skill set and will focus on basic fundamentals all the way up to the most advanced skills. Players will be able to take these fundamentals and apply them in game-like situations.

Hoop camp for kids in 1st thru 8th grade
Northwest Nazarene's men's basketball team will host a camp for boys and girls entering 1
st through 8
th grade teaching basic to advanced basketball skills. Cost for the camp is $85 if registered before June 1, and $100 starting June 1.
The camp will be 9 a.m. to noon each day, June 12-15, at the Johnson Sports Center (313 E. Dewey Ave., Nampa, ID, 83686) on the NNU campus. Check-in begins at 8:30 am on Monday, June 12. There will be 3 hours of quality on-court instruction each day, and campers will play games and win a variety of prizes and awards.

Women's soccer camp preps players for college
The Crusader women's soccer team will hold a Girls Soccer ID Camp for club players and high-school age players interested in advancing on to play collegiate soccer. Cost is $160, and housing and meals will be provided.
The camp will be Friday and Saturday, June 16-17, on the Northwest Nazarene University campus (623 S. University Blvd., Nampa, ID, 83686). Check-in Friday, June 16, will be from 5-6 p.m., and be followed by dinner and a college seminar from 6-8 p.m.
Players will take part in a technical, and position training session, as well as compete in full-field games on Saturday, June 17, with the camp running from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Variety of volleyball camps for individual and team development
The Northwest Nazarene volleyball team is hosting a series of position camps, along with a Junior Spikers camp, and two team camps, preparing players and teams for the upcoming season, and introducing new players to the game.
The Crusaders invite teams learning volleyball to the Development Camp, July 10-12.
The Elite Camp, for teams that understand rotations, and are able to pass set and hit consistently, will be July 13-15.
Cost for either camp is $275 per player for campers residing on campus, which includes meals. The cost for non-resident campers is $125 per player.
Each camp will be held at the Johnson Sports Center (313 E. Dewey Ave., Nampa, ID, 83686) on the NNU campus. There will be three sessions per day for each camp, the first focusing on individual skills, the second on team concepts, and the evening session will be camp tournament play.
Individual position camps will be July 17-20, from 1-4 p.m. each day at the Johnson Sports Center (313 E. Dewey Ave., Nampa, ID, 83686) on the NNU campus. Cost for each camp is $50.
Monday, July 17, will be a the Setter Camp, where setters will learn about hand position, footwork, reading a passer, attacking and many other essential skills for setters. The goal of this camp is for setters to improve their location, consistency and knowledge of the setting position.
Tuesday, July 18, will be the Libero Camp, where campers will learn the fundamentals of serve receive, setting, and defense. The goal of this camp is to have campers leave with a better understand of the essential libero skills.
Wednesday, July 19, will be the Attacker/Blocker Camp with a focus on foot work patterns (approach, serve receive to hit, transition to hit) and arm swing. Blockers will focus on footwork, arm-work and eye-work. All positions (outsides, right sides, and middles) are encouraged to attend. The goal of this camp is to have the campers leave with a better understanding of their hitting position.
Thursday, July 20, will be the Serving Camp with the focus on setup, toss, and contact of an overhead serve, jump-float and jump-spin serves.
The final camp offered by the Crusaders will be the Junior Spikers camp for kids in 8th grade and younger. The camp will be August 2-3 at the Johnson Sports Center (313 E. Dewey Ave., Nampa, ID, 83686) on the NNU campus, and cost is $100.
The camp will focus on learning the basic skills with an added focus on creating multiple contacts. The goal of Junior Spikers is to create a love for the sport of volleyball and learn the basic skills.

Men's soccer hosts Elite ID Camp for top high school, JC players
The Crusader men's soccer team will hold a Boys/Men's Soccer Elite ID Camp for top high school players and junior-college players interested in advancing on to play collegiate soccer. Cost is $160, and housing and meals will be provided.
The camp will be Friday and Saturday, July 21-22, on the Northwest Nazarene University campus (623 S. University Blvd., Nampa, ID, 83686).
Players will receive collegiate-level training and get a chance to showcase their skills. Goalkeepers who attend the camp will experience specific goalkeeper training, as well as have the opportunity to showcase their ability during small- and full-sided games.
