NAMPA, Idaho – Crusader Nation, this game is in your honor.

The Northwest Nazarene women's basketball team – fresh off a 79-64 upset of No. 3-ranked Alaska Anchorage on New Year's Day - is excited to invite everyone to "Fan Appreciation Night" on Thursday, Jan. 8, when the Crusaders host Simon Fraser (B.C.) at the Johnson Sports Center on the NNU campus at 6 p.m.

General admission is free to everyone from long-time Northwest Nazarene fans to newcomers to Crusader Nation. The game features two of the top teams in the Great Northwest Athletic Conference in action.

The game also will be broadcast on ROOT Sports Northwest, tape delayed at 9 p.m. (MT), so bring your signs supporting the Crusaders and you could end up on TV! The game will be broadcast on Cable One channel 149, on DirecTV channel 687 and Dish Network channel 426. 

Along with great college basketball action, fans in attendance will be treated to a plethora of fun giveaways of Crusader gear and iTunes gift cards, and at halftime there will be a special shootout for an authentic NNU women's basketball warm-up top signed by the 2014-15 Crusader team.

Fans of all ages are then invited to stick around after the game as the Crusaders will be signing special-edition action posters.
