CALDWELL, Idaho – The College of Idaho Coyotes defeated the Northwest Nazarene University softball team in both games of yesterday's double-header action at Symms Field in Caldwell, Idaho.
 
In game one C of I came out on top 9-1. In the second game the Coyotes edged the Crusaders, earning a run in the bottom of the seventh inning to top NNU 3-2.
 
Brianna Kinghorn led the Crusaders going 3 for 6 from the plate on the day and brought in three runs for NNU.
 
Noelle Wright took both losses on the mound dropping to 5-9 overall.
 
The Crusaders fall to 5-12 overall. NNU will be back in action this Friday when they travel to Bellingham, Washington to face Western Washington University in double-header action beginning at 1:00 p.m. (PST).
