BILLINGS, Mont. - The Montana State University Billings' softball team earned a pair of wins over Northwest Nazarene University, 13-2 and 18-0, both in five innings Saturday in Billings, Montana.
The Yellowjackets scored a run in every inning in Game 1, while committing no errors in the 13-2 victory.
Shelby Johnson had the lone homerun in game one and was 1 for 3 with 1 RBI. Ali Shauer 2 for 2 from the plate for NNU.
Noelle Wright was credited with the loss, allowing six earned runs on 11 hits. She struck out two Yellowjackets and walked one.
In game two MSUB came out on top 18-0 in five innings.

Kayla Sevier and
Michelle Crumbaker all had one hit for NNU. Wright took the loss in game two dropping to 5-17 overall.
The Yellow Jackets improve to 7-13 overall and 6-7 in GNAC play. NNU drops to 5-22 overall and 0-12 in conference action. The Crusaders will be back in action next Thursday when they host Simon Fraser University beginning at 3:00 p.m. at Halle Field on the Campus of NNU.
