Crusader Softball at Desert Stinger Tournament

LAS VEGAS, Nevada – The Northwest Nazarene University softball team dropped game one of the Desert Stinger Tournament 4-2 against Notre Dame de Namur in Las Vegas, Nevada.
 
In game one Brianna Kinghorn and Shelby Johnson both had solo homeruns in the seventh inning for NNU.
 
In game two the Crusaders fell to Chadron State 10-2.

Michelle Crumbaker was 1 for 2 with 2 RBI's. 

In the final game of day one of the 2013 Desert Stinger Tournament Azusa Pacific defeated Northwest Nazarene 8-4.

Shelby Johnson went 2 for 3 from the plate with 2 RBI's and a homerun in the third inning. Baylee Jolliffe was 3 for 3 with 2 RBI's. Kayla Seiver had two hits in her three appearances at the plate. 

The Crusaders will now face Black Hills State tomorrow at 2:00 p.m. and play in their final game at 4:30 p.m. against New Mexico Highlands.
