NAMPA, Idaho – The Yellow Jackets of Montana State University Billings had five players in double digit scoring to help get past the Northwest Nazarene University women's basketball team 76-63 in tonight's Great Northwest Athletic Conference action held at the Johnson Sports Center in Nampa, Idaho.
 
Bobbi Knudsen led the Yellow Jackets with 20 points on 8 of 17 shooting from the floor. Brooke Tolman, Monica Grimsrud and Kayleen Goggins all had 10 points for MSUB. Janiel Olson recorded a double-double performance with 10 points and 10 rebounds.
 
Megan Hingston had 18 points on 7 of 13 shooting and grabbed 7 rebounds to pace the Crusaders. Senior Heather Adams had 14 points and Chelsie Luke chipped 13 points.
 
The Crusaders drop to 18-7 overall and 10-7 in GNAC play. NNU was 25 of 58 (43.1-perecent) from the floor and shot a perfect 10 for 10 from the free-throw line. The Yellow Jackets improve to 16-9 overall and 10-7 in GNAC action. MSUB was 31-63 (49.2-percent) from the field and 9 of 21 (42.9-percent) from beyond the three-point line.
 
NNU will be back in action on Saturday at 5:15 p.m. against Seattle Pacific University for the final regular season game. Following the women's game the Crusader men's basketball team will face Western Oregon at 7:30 p.m. at the Johnson Sports Center in Nampa, Idaho.
