NAMPA, Idaho – The Northwest Nazarene University softball team dropped both games in today's double-header action against the University of Great Falls.
In game one the Crusaders fell 0-8.
Kendra Day was 2 for 3 from the plate to lead NNU.
Noelle Wright received the loss on the mound dropping to 3-3 on the year.
Keeley Van Blaricom earned her first win of the season for UGF after pitching the complete game.
In game two the Argos came out on top 2-1.
Shelby Johnson went 3 for 3 at the plate and
Brianna Kinghorn was 1 for 3 with 1 RBI.
Krista Olson took the loss on the mound for NNU.
Maureen Garcia earned the win on the mound for the Argos, improving to 1-0.
The Crusaders go to 5-8 overall on the year. NNU will be back in action next Saturday at 1:00 p.m. as they host Montana State University Billings in double-header action to open up Great Northwest Athletic Conference play. Both games will be held at Halle Field in Nampa Idaho.
