NAMPA, Idaho – Against a hot shooting Alaska Anchorage team, the Northwest Nazarene University women's basketball team fell 94-82 in tonight's Great Northwest Athletic Conference match up.
The Seawolves of UAA were 28 of 54 (51.9-percent) from the field. UAA made 14 of 28 (50.0-percent) shots from beyond the three-point line.
Sasha King tied the GNAC record for most three-pointers made in a game with nine.
King was 10 of 12 from the field with 9 of 12 coming from beyond the arc giving her a new season-high 34 points.
For the Crusaders,
Megan Hingston led the team with 22 points on 8 of 15 shooting from the floor and a perfect 6 of 6 from the charity stripe. Hingston led NNU with 8 rebounds.
Heather Adams had 17 points with 4 shots coming from beyond the arc.
Chelsie Luke added 16 points.

NNU who is nationally ranked No. 22 drops to 18-4 overall and 10-4 in GNAC action. The Seawolves extended their winning streak to four games and now go to 14-9 overall and 8-7 in the GNAC.
Alysa Horn added 20 points and grabbed a game-high 11 rebounds for UAA. Kylie Burns chipped in 14 points for the Seawolves.
The Crusaders out-rebounded the Seawolves 37-33. Both teams had15 turnovers on the night.
NNU will now travel to face nationally ranked No. 9 Western Washington on Thursday night in Bellingham, Washington. On Saturday the Crusaders will take on nationally ranked No. 8 Simon Fraser in Burnaby, BC.
