Megan Hingston and
Chelsie Luke combined for 43 points to help lead the Northwest Nazarene women's basketball team past the University of Alaska Anchorage 76-49 in tonight's Great Northwest Athletic Conference action.
Hingston put in 21 second-half points to open up the Crusader lead. The junior out of Keizer, Oregon finished the game with 25 points on 11 of 18 shooting and grabbed a team-high 9 rebounds. Luke scored 18 points with four buckets coming beyond the three-point line. She also grabbed 8 rebounds. Senior
Heather Adams added 7 points and handed out 7 assists for NNU.

Alysa Horn led the Seawolves with 13 points and grabbed 12 rebounds. Alli Madison chipped in 11 points for UAA.
NNU was 32 of 66 (48.5-percent) from the floor with 6 of 13 (42.9-percent) coming from beyond the three-point line. The Crusaders forced 24 turnovers and out-rebounded the Seawolves 43-39. UAA was 15 of 56 (26.8-percent) from the floor and 16 of 25 (64.0-percent) from the foul line.
The Crusaders jump to 12-2 overall and 4-2 in GNAC action. NNU will now travel to Fairbanks, Alaska to face the Nanooks of the University of Alaska Fairbanks at 5:15 p.m. on Saturday night.
