BELLINGHAM, Wash - The Northwest Nazarene softball dropped two games today in Bellingham, as they faced the Vikings of Western Washington.

The Crusaders fell 6-4 in game one and 2-3 in the final game.

In game one Cara Duckworth was 1 for 4 with 2 RBI's.

The Crusaders were up 3-2 going into the fifth as the Vikings brought in four runners during the inning and one more in 6th inning to take the win.

Cara Duckworth dropped to 4-18 on the season with the loss.

In game 2 the Vikings scored a run in the eighth inning to take the win. Rachelle Berry hit a shot to center field and brought in the final run for the Vikings.

Krista Olson recieved the loss and drops to 2-8 on the season.

The Crusaders fall to 6-35 overall and 5-27 in GNAC play. The Vikings now go to 15-30 overall and 11-17 in conference play.

NNU  will be back to field next Thursday as they face Central Washington in Ellensburg starting at 1 p.m.
