BILLINGS, Mont. – The Northwest Nazarene University women's basketball team lost 69-68 to Montana State University Billings in tonight's Great Northwest Athletic Conference game in Billings, Montana.

Megan Hingston posted a 26-point effort in the loss, shooting 11 of 22 from the floor and grabbing 12 rebounds on the night.
Chelsie Luke and
Ellen Ferrenburg each had 11 points for the Crusaders.

Bobbi Knudsen had 18 points and 8 assists for the Yellow Jackets. Janiel Olson grabbed 15 rebounds for MSUB and also chipped in 8 points. Kayleen Goggins and Brooke Tolman had 12 points each to help the Yellow Jackets improve to 6-2 overall and 2-0 in GNAC play.
The Crusaders were 27 of 61 (44.3-percent) from the floor and 11 of 12 (91.7-percent) from the foul line. NNU out-rebounded MSUB 42-39. The Yellow Jackets shot 27 of 71 (38-percent) from the field and 9 of 16 (56.3-percent) from the foul line.
NNU drops to 5-2 overall and 0-2 in GNAC action. The Crusaders will be back on the court next Friday as they host Carroll College at 6:00 p.m. at the Johnson Sports Center in Nampa, Idaho.
