NAMPA, Idaho - The first USTFCCCA NCAA Division II Regional Team Index was released this week and finds the Crusader Indoor Track & Field Teams ranked 2nd in the West Region on the women's side and 3rd in the men's results.
The Crusader women's team trails only Grand Canyon University, as GCU amassed 355.59 weekly points, with the Crusaders compiling 250.14 points to lead third-ranked San Francisco State (246.62) by four.
NNU's men's team has 259.95 index points and trails first-place Grand Canyon (475.72) and Central Washington (320.89).
The Regional Team Index is a computer-generated poll that uses the current, cumulative 2012 results for the entire indoor season. The men's West Region Index contains only nine teams this week, as only nine teams have competed at this point in the season.
