SEATTLE - Northwest Nazarene's Chelsie Luke produced a game-high double-double of 20 points and 13 rebounds but the Crusaders fell to Seattle Pacific University 72-58 this afternoon in a Great Northwest Athletic Conference game at Brougham Pavilion on the SPU campus.

The Crusaders (9-6, 3-4 GNAC) scored the first basket of the game but SPU then ran off the next 16 points. NNU cut the lead into single digits at 18-10, but the Falcons answered with six straight and the Crusaders never got closer than 10 the rest of the way.

Luke and Briaunna King each recorded double-doubles for the Crusaders as King tallied 12 points and 11 rebounds.  Luke's 13 rebounds was a career-high for the sophomore from Meridian, Idaho, while her point total was just two shy of her career best.  Alla Dzhidzhiyeshvili added 16 points.

The Falcons (12-4, 6-2 GNAC) were paced by Katie Benson with 17 points and Nyesha Sims with a 12 point - 10 rebound double-double.

The Falcons blocked 11 shots and held the Crusaders to 33.8-percent (24-71) shooting from the floor and a 2 of 11 mark from the three-point line.  SPU finished at 41.9-percent (26-62) from the field and were 6 of 16 from long range.

NNU will return to home court action next weekend, hosting Simon Fraser on Thursday and Western Washington on Saturday.  Both games tip off at 7:00 p.m. at the Johnson Sports Center.
