MONMOUTH, Ore. - Jessica Hallmark and Haley Hevern hit home runs to power Western Oregon and Northwest Nazarene, respectively, to wins in a GNAC softball doubleheader at Monmouth.

Hallmark's three-run blast keyed a six-run second inning as WOU (12-26, 9-17) won the first game 6-1. Hevern had a leadoff home run in the third, a sacrifice fly in the first and a RBI single in the seventh as NNU (14-26, 13-15) won the nightcap 10-6.

Northwest Nazarene outhit the Wolves in both games including 11-7 in the opener when they managed just one run, a solo home run by Elizabeth Beaty, off of Alex Hillmick in seven innings. Hillmick stranded 12 leaving the bases loaded in the second and sixth innings.

Beaty continues to build on her record-setting home run pace, leading the Crusaders with a single-season school-record 12.  She ranks second in the GNAC, one back of MSUB's Kaycee Hoffman, and is fourth in the conference in slugging percentage at .774.

In the second game, six different players had two hits for NNU - Renfrow, Kristin Refsland, Beaty, Hevern, Chelsea Allsbrook and Arielle Chao - to highlight a 14-hit attack.
