NAMPA, Idaho - Heather Adams scored 13 and Megan Hingston added an 11 point - 11 rebound double-double to lead the Northwest Nazarene women's basketball team to a 53-48 victory over Saint Martin's University tonight at the Johnson Sports Center.

The win moves the Crusaders (14-11, 9-8 GNAC) into a tie for fifth place in the GNAC standings with the Saints (14-11, 9-8 GNAC), however, the Crusaders own the head-to-head tiebreaker by having beaten the Saints in both meetings this season.

Roni Jo Mielke and Marelle Moehrle each scored 10 to lead Saint Martin's and Dara Zach paced the Saint's on the glass with seven.  Zach, SMU's leading scorer entering the game, was held to just two points on 0 for 5 shooting from the floor.

The Crusaders out-rebounded the Saints 31-29 and grabbed nine steals in forcing 22 SMU turnovers.  Chelsie Luke led NNU with three steals and also scored eight and grabbed four rebounds.

NNU will close out the regular season on Thursday night, hosting Western Oregon University at 5:15 p.m. as part of a doubleheader with the men's team.  The Crusader men's team will face Saint Martin's at 7:30 p.m.
