TURLOCK, Calif. - The Northwest Nazarene University softball team opened play on Friday afternoon at the Tournament of Champions Presented by Mizuno, hosted by Cal State Stanislaus in Turlock, Calif., falling 3-2 to Chico State and 7-2 against San Francisco State University.
The Crusaders will play again at 9:30 p.m. MT against Cal State Monterey Bay to conclude opening day action.
