| By:
BILLINGS, Mont. - Chelsey Anderson and Jael Henthorn each had three hits on the day but the Crusaders stranded 15 runners to fall 8-0 and 11-2 on Saturday afternoon in a Great Northwest Athletic Conference twinbill at Montana State Billings.

The Yellowjackets (20-8, 13-3) finished with 25 hits, including four by Amanda Goings. Shay Oberg, Steph Gosselin and Leslie Davis had three each.

Rebekah Tsatsa and Whitney Whittemore homered in the opener to back the two-hit pitching of Kasie Conder, who walked one and fanned four.

In the second game, Terina Stacks and Davis went deep. Stacks led off the first to jump-start a five-run, five-hit inning. Davis homered with one on in the second to give MSUB an 8-0 lead.

Josie Grotbo went the distance, allowing seven hits and walking six.

The Crusaders (4-14, 2-10 GNAC) will now travel to Caldwell on Tuesday and face The College of Idaho at 4 p.m.
