GNAC Player-of-the-Week
Kristin Hein led all players with 12 rebounds, scored nine, and tied the GNAC consecutive three pointers made record with nine, hitting her first attempt from the arc before missing her next two. Hein had converted all five of her triples on Saturday night against UAA and had buried her last three against Alaska Fairbanks one week ago.
Shayla Corder led the Wolves with 14 and Katie Torland finished with the game's only double-double with 13 points and 11 rebounds.
The Wolves out-rebounded the Crusaders 37-36, but were held to just 26.5-percent (13-49) shooting from the floor and a 13.3-percent (2-15) clip from the three point arc. NNU shot an even 50-percent (29-58) from the field and were six of 13 from the three point line.
The Crusaders will now travel to Saint Martin's University for a pivotal Saturday evening GNAC contest against the Saints, tip-off is scheduled for 5:15 p.m. PT.
