NAMPA, Idaho - Jamie Herrick and Alicia Fuchs pitched complete games to lead Saint Martin's University to a sweep of Northwest Nazarene on the final day of the 2008 season at Halle Field in Nampa.  The Saints won the opener 8-1 before taking game two 4-1.

Fuchs pitched a six-hitter and also had three hits for Saint Martin's (20-30, 6-14), including pair of doubles and two RBI in the opener.

Lisa Holombo had three hits, while Kristine Kaneshiro, Danni Ballard, Kirsten Davidson and Krissy Bassett each had two. Kaneshiro drove in three runs.

In the nightcap, Brandi Klemm and Davidson each had two hits and Herrick scattered seven safeties. SMU snapped a 1-1 tie getting three runs in the third, one on a wild pitch, one on a ground out and one on a single by Davidson.

Rachel Bare, Katie Free and Sarah Varady all had three for the Crusaders, who completed their season with a 9-41 record, including 2-22 in the GNAC.
