#2 Seattle Pacific defeats NNU 75-58 in Seattle

SEATTLE - The Northwest Nazarene women's basketball team fell 75-58 to nationally ranked No. 2 Seattle Pacific University on Saturday afternoon at Royal Brougham Pavilion in Seattle.

The Crusaders (10-6 GNAC, 17-8), who were led by Kristin Hein's 13 points and nine rebounds, shot 44.4-percent (24-54) from the floor, but were only two-for-12 from the three-point line.

The Falcons (16-0 GNAC, 25-0) had four players in double-figures, led by the game high 17 points of Jackie Hollands.  Megan Hoisington scored 12 and both Beth Christensen and Jessie Christensen scored 10.  Jessie Christensen also grabbed a game-high 11 rebounds.

SPU out-rebounded NNU 42-34 and forced 22 Crusader turnovers.

NNU will return to Nampa and play the final two regular season games at home next weekend against Saint Martin's University on Thursday and Western Oregon University on Saturday.  Both games will tip-off at 7 p.m. MST.
