POMONA, Calif. - Senior point guard
Mallory Whipple scored a game-high 14 points and dished out seven assists to lead the Northwest Nazarene University women's basketball team to a 71-45 victory over Cal State Los Angeles on Friday evening at the Cal Poly Pomona CCAA/GNAC Classic in Pomona.
Whipple added five rebounds to her totals, with only Briaunna King grabbing more with a team-high six boards and eight points. Jen Williams reached double-figures with 11 points and five rebounds and

Lindsay Brady and
Janee Olds each scored nine points.
The Crusaders (6-3) committed a season-low 10 turnovers against 13 assists and were 20-of-25 from the free throw line (80-percent).
NNU held the Golden Eagles to 41.7-percent (20-48) shooting from the floor and 27.3-percent (3-11) from the three point line. CSLA made just two-of-13 free throw attempts.
Shyneese Walter led the Eagles (1-7) with 12 points and Joy Mason led all players with nine rebounds.
The Crusaders will be in action tomorrow at 2:00 p.m. PST when they play the host Broncos from Cal Poly Pomona. CPP defeated Western Oregon 77-57 earlier tonight and are now 5-5 overall.
