Rob Roberts Training Facility

The Rob Roberts Training Facility gives NNU student-athletes 22,000 square feet of additional indoor practice space. The facility is located on the west side of campus next to the Johnson Sports Center and adjacent to Elmore W. Vail Field, the home of NNU baseball.

Rob Roberts, owner of R&M Steel generously donated the steel for the facility and it opened in the summer of 2026.

The main surface is artificial turf that is surrounded by hitting nets with two batting cages on each side. The space is complete with markers for softball bases and pitcher's circle and baseball bases with a spot for the pitcher's mound.

The men's and women's golf teams benefit from a side room that holds four hitting simulators and a putting green that has ten holes.
