Oliver, a native of Menifee, Calif., attended Paloma Valley High School before starting his college baseball career at Palomar Junior College.

Oliver transferred to The Master’s College (Calif.) for one season before finishing his playing career at NNU, graduating in 2010.

As a coach, Oliver served as head junior varsity coach at Paloma Valley High School and spent two seasons coaching college-age baseball players in the Boise Collegiate Summer League in 2011 and 2012.

Oliver was a two-time All-GNAC pick in baseball, and as a senior he was voted the Outstanding Senior for Kinesiology and won The J.B. Frazier Award.
