NAMPA, Idaho - Northwest Nazarene University head baseball coach Tim Onofrei has announced that Tyler Crabb has signed a Letter of Commitment to attend NNU and play baseball for the Crusaders this fall.
Crabb (INF, R/R, 5-9, 145, Nampa, ID), who graduated this spring from Nampa's Skyview High School, was a two-sport athlete in soccer and baseball for the Hawks.
“Tyler will do a great job here at NNU as a student-athlete,” Onofrei commented. “He is good hitter, solid defensively, and does a phenomenal job in the classroom.”
Crabb received Idaho 4A Southern Idaho Conference All-Academic Awards for both baseball and soccer and was an All-SIC honorable mention soccer player at Skyview. This spring on the diamond Crabb hit .402 and posted an on-base percentage of .651. He is the son of Pete and Ann Crabb and plans on majoring in Graphic Design at NNU.
