NAMPA, Idaho - Northwest Nazarene University head softball coach Julie Coert as announced the signing of Michelle Crumbaker, Lindzey Ramos, Nicole Grummons, and Becky Louber to letters of commitment to attend NNU and play for the Crusaders this coming school year.
Crumbaker (Fr., C, Vancouver, WA/Evergreen HS) will join the Crusaders after graduating from Evergreen High School in Vancouver, Washington this spring where she was a 2nd-team All-Greater St.Helen's League selection as a senior.
Ramos (Fr., P-UT, Hermiston, OR) comes to Nampa from Hermiston High School in Hermiston, Oregon and has spent the summer season playing for the Washington Spirit U18 Gold.
Grummons (Jr., P-OF, Salinas, CA/Notre Dame HS/Hartnell CC) becomes a Crusader after playing two seasons at Hartnell Community College in Salinas, CA where she posted a 2.86 ERA in 2009, going 15-15 in the circle. Grummons also ranked second on her Hartnell team at the plate, hitting .350 in 117 at-bats.
Louber (Jr., OF, Chico, CA/Champion Christian HS/Shasta CC) played her first two collegiate seasons at Shasta Community College in Redding, CA, hitting .275 in 109 at-bats in 2009. The Shasta Knights finished the season 32-13 overall.
