NAMPA, Idaho - Northwest Nazarene University head men's basketball coach Tim Hills has announced that Drew and Jamie Eisinger have each signed National Letters-of-Intent to attend NNU and play basketball for the Crusaders this fall.

"We are very excited to be adding Drew and Jamie to our team next season," commented NNU assistant coach Brandon Rinta.  "They are both quick guards that can create shots for themselves or their teammates.  They are hard workers that are looking forward to competing together again at a high level."

The brothers from Mill Creek, WA last played together at Western Nebraska Junior College during the 2007-08 school year, with Drew averaging 12.0 ppg and Jamie netting 7.0 points per contest.  Following their year at Western Nebraska, Drew continued on to play at the University of Idaho where he helped the U of I win 17 games and secure their first post-season birth since 1984.

Prepping at Mill Creek's Jackson High School, both Drew and Jamie were Washington 4A All-State selections during their respective senior seasons, with Drew named to the Seattle Times All-State Team and Jamie earning honorable-mention Associated Press accolades.

Invited to play in the Washington Interscholastic Basketball Coaches Association (WIBCA) All-State All-Star Game in each of their senior seasons, both were All-WesCo Conference first-team all-stars and were each named the Everett Herald All-Area Player-of-the-Year.

Following high school, Drew (Jr., G, 6-3, 165, Mill Creek, WA/Jackson) played the 2006-07 season at Western Reserve Academy in Ohio, averaging 21.5 points, 5.6 assists, and 2.9 steals per game.  Selected as the Academy team MVP, Eisinger shot 56-percent from the floor and 52-percent from the three-point line.

During the same 2006-07 season, Jamie (So., G, 5-11, 165, Mill Creek, WA/Jackson) was again selected to the All-WesCo Conference first-team all-conference squad as he averaged 21.1 points to lead the Jackson High Timberwolves to a 17-7 overall record.

In their final year of high school played together, the duo led Jackson High School to a fifth-place finish at the Washington 4A state tournament, as Drew averaged 19.7 points per game, including a 24.5 ppg average in four tournament games to earn first-team all-tournament honors.
